It’s not very often you get to design and decorate for a Quinceanera event ! I was thrilled to be a part of Dana’s 15th birthday festivities at the Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse. A Quinceanera is the Hispanic tradition of celebrating a young girl’s coming of age- her 15th birthday. An event filled with lush florals and greens, a grand dessert display, and a choreography dance with her special friends chosen to participate in what is called the Court of Honor. This event had a design that became even larger than most typical weddings! Lucky girl:) I also couldn’t have done it without the help of some important vendor’s who assisted in making it a perfect day! Day and Month of planner, Emma Mccormick from Emma Mccormick Creative Planning & Productions. She made sure the logistics and events were in order ! And of course brought her balloons along! Dana wanted an enchanted forest theme, lush greens and succulents everywhere, Lynda from Fleurtacious , spent many hours creating the most lush thick garlands, and really knocked it out of the park. Large green arrangments on our gold pedestals, blush and ivory floral hoops and arrangments, and over 400 ft of garlands suspending from the tent ceiling and the tent entrances.
Macrame table runners, crossback chairs, glass with gold rimmed chargers. Ivory jute napkins, blush depression goblets, and copper candle votives.
The dessert table might have been my favourite though. Our wood backdrop with a custom calligraphy sign from Studio 745 with the most heartfelt poem from dana’s parents. Succulents , florals and wood accents adorn the table, with the most colourful selection of desserts and assortments from Toque Catering, and a naked cake that did not disappoint from Ruth & Dean.
A tent doesn’t seem complete now without a Full tent drape courtesy of Designer weddings & Special Occasions
Having a blast dancing away, special thanks to Ron at Highway Productions.
Congrats Dana!!!!!!
