It was a honor to win the Vancouver Island Wedding Awards ~ Best wedding Designer With a Difference! The award is granted to a design that stands out as unique, maybe a bit out of the box and daring in its design.
Because the concept for this wedding was an elegant Asian fusion with stunning antiques. We featured bold reds, and blues, accompanied by subtle hints of blush and peach to tie it all together.
Upon entering the ceremony in the Fairmont Empresses Palm Court, you’re greeted with rows of clear ‘ghost chairs”, all leading you towards the powerful display of floral and candles draped around an antique attention demanding mantel and mirror. To the side a greeting table was placed, holding pictures of loved ones and candles.
The reception was held in the Crystal Ballroom and featured a shanghai style, mixed elegantly with antique chargers and beautiful blush napkins. The center pieces, which were placed in traditional oriental blue and white china, carried the floral styles of the ceremony onto the tables creating a flawless transition of concept.
We would like to thank Michele and Brian for trusting us with our vision of their special day, and congratulations to you both.We sincerely hope that your special day was everything you hoped for and more.
